~climbing rope in 3 colors (abt a foot each)
~2 bead caps
~glue
~embroidery thread
~gold nugget beads
~clasp and jump rings
Instructions:
Step 1: gather supplies
Step 2: cut the rope to desired bracelet length
Step 3: place a dab of glue (hot glue works well) onto ends of rope pieces and glue into bead cap
Step 4: start wrapping thread about around rope about 1/3 of the way in (can dab some glue to hold better)
Step 5: start crisscrossing thread pieces and add in a couple beads at various points
Step 6: Add on clasp and jump rings
...and voila.
Make others like the one shown above, by using thick rope and wrapping thread around a piece of rhinestone chain. Use a dab of glue underneath ends of chain.
